Project: Concrete Repair and Protection on Chula Vista Bayside Park Pier

Scope of Works:
•  Concrete Repair and Protection to the pier soffit and piles on the pier substructure
•  Spot concrete repair of corroded handrails concrete curb on the pier substructure
•  Repair and replacement of the wave attenuation panels
•  Pier deck resurfacing

Project Description:
Fibrwrap Construction Inc. performed concrete repair and protection works on the pier substructure mainly with the implementation of Tyfo^® Fibrwrap Systems.
Actually the engineer of record, Triton Engineers specified the Tyfo^® SCH-41 Carbon Fiber with the use of the Tyfo^® SW-1 epoxy, specially developed for underwater curing.
The full scope of the project was successfully completed in 10 weeks.
One year after the completion of works a warranty inspection from the client, the engineer of record and FCI Agency, was conducted and it was found that the performance of both structural and no-structural improvements remained in prime condition
